Round 1, Pick 21: Denzel Boston, Wide Receiver, Washington

Regardless of who the quarterback is for the Steelers in 2026, the WR room needs more depth behind DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman. Denzel Boston fills that role as a big-bodied redzone target with a 6’4″, 212-pound frame that hauled in 11 touchdowns last season at Washington. He was a force in the passing game for the Huskies, as he led the team with 62 receptions and 881 receiving yards.
Boston lacks elite athleticism and explosiveness, but the size and production are enticing to WR-needy teams like the Steelers. He likely won’t be a #1 receiver his first few seasons in the league with his physical limitations, but Pittsburgh doesn’t need #1 production from him. The team will need Boston to be a threat on third downs and in the red zone to open things up downfield for Metcalf and Pittman.
