The team from the Steel City boasts a larger amount of draft capital (unlike the previously featured Seattle Seahawks) in this year’s draft, and this Pittsburgh Steelers mock sees those picks being used to provide some much-needed depth to the roster. While the Steelers didn’t have high-profile losses in free agency, the departures of Kenneth Gainwell, Calvin Austin III, and Miles Killebrew leave holes that need to be filled.
Pittsburgh has picks in the first (21), second (53), third (76, 85, 99), fourth (121, 135), fifth (161), sixth (214, 216), and seventh (224, 237) rounds. With Mike McCarthy leading the new-look Steelers, the draft marks a big opportunity for the coaching staff to shape the direction of the franchise going forward.
