Round 1, Pick 15: Keldrick Faulk, Edge, Auburn

Hassan Reddick is still unsigned, and Tampa is currently slated to see its entire front seven hit free agency in 2027. The only thing worse than a poor pass defense is a poor pass defense that loses seven starters. The most important player up front is edge rusher, and the Bucs currently have Calijah Kancey and A’Shawn Robinson, but they draft Auburn’s Keldrick Faulk with the 15th pick.
Faulk has elite size for an edge rusher, standing 6’6 and weighing in at 276 pounds. He runs a 4.67 forty, and boasts a 35″ vertical and 117″ broad jump. His athleticism shows up on tape, specifically his junior year, where he recorded 45 tackles (11 for a loss) and seven sacks. His senior numbers dipped, but only because the Tigers moved Faulk all over the field.
Faulk displays insanely great instincts in the run game, on par with any defender in the NFL. He is incredibly disciplined, but his motor never quits. His biggest areas in need of improvement are related to his pass rushing. He does not have ideal bend or explosiveness against the pass, but his potential is undeniable.
