This Tampa Bay Buccaneers mock draft will try to right a ship that turned in the wrong direction last season. Failing to make the playoffs, the Bucs went 8-9, after going 10-7 the year before. The scoring offense regressed from 29.5 points per game (fourth in the NFL) to 22.4 (18th), and the scoring defense went from 22.6 points allowed per game (16th) to 24.2 (20th). The team’s rushing defense was great, allowing just 1,947 yards (5th) but the passing defense was abysmal, giving up 4,049 yards (27th).

The decline could be tied to the regression of quarterback Baker Mayfield, who completed 71.4% of his passes in 2024, and then just 63.2% last season. The team finished 19th in the league for sacks (37), 21st on pressures (128), 24th on passer rating allowed (97.5), and 26th in completion percentage allowed (66.7%).

There are no trades in this mock draft, even if it makes sense, so the Bucs will draft exactly where they are slated to. That would be in the first (15), second (46), third (77), fourth (116), fifth (155), sixth (195), and seventh (229) rounds. Without further ado…

Next: Round 1, Pick 15
