This New Orleans Saints mock draft will try to fix some of the issues that plagued the team under first-year head coach Kellen Moore. They finished the season 6-11, in last place in a division where a losing record got one team to the playoffs. This is not shocking, because a team that can’t score points can’t win games, and the Saints only managed 18.0 points per game in 2025 (28th in the NFL). The biggest issue there was the running game, which managed just 1,603 yards on the year.

New Orleans’ defense was slightly better, giving up 22.5 points per game (16th) and finishing in the top ten for yards allowed (5,096) and top five in passing yards allowed (3,046). They managed just 141 pressures on the year (16th) but recorded 45 sacks (10th). They were middle-of-the-road for completion percentage allowed (63.5%).

There are no trades in this Saints mock draft, so the team will select where scheduled. They will draft in the first (8), second (42), third (73), fourth (132 and 136), fifth (150 and 172), and sixth rounds (190). They wil need to address current holes and holes that will form next season when certain players leave in free agency. Without further ado…

Next: Round 1, Pick 8
