Round 4, Pick 136: Jaeden Roberts, Guard, Alabama

The Saints take players from Alabama on back-to-back picks, but this one is on offense instead of defense. New Orleans is set at tackle with Kelvin Banks on one side and Taliese Fuaga on the other, but the interior of the offensive line could use some beefing up. At 6’5 and 333 pounds, the Tide’s Jaeden Roberts provides a big slab of beef. He was limited to just four starts in 2025, or he would have been selected much higher in this draft.
Roberts, as would be expected, has immense strength. He has a great anchor and can not be pushed back by the defensive line. He squats 805 pounds and benches 525. His ultimate goal is to get any defender he latches onto to finish the play with their facemask in the dirt. He is mean, aggressive, and plays through the whistle. The run game is where he struggles, especially when engaging linebackers in the second level. Pass protection is great, but Roberts will need to vastly improve in the run game for a team like the Saints.
