Round 6, Pick 190: Reggie Virgil, Wide Receiver, Texas Tech

With their final pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints grab more depth at wide receiver. Reggie Virgil out of Texas Tech is a long and skinny (6’3 and 187 pounds) pass catcher with great hands. His 4.57 forty is underwhelming, but when his quarterbacks targeted him last season, they had a 100.9 passer rating. He finished his college career with more than 1,500 receiving yards.
Despite not having straight-line speed, Virgil’s feet are exceptionally quick. He tracks the ball well and doesn’t show his hands until the last second on deep balls. He sells the routes well, especially those with double and triple moves. His thin frame will need to be beefed up to survive as a pro, and his route cuts tend to be more rounded than sharp. In round six, he is a safe bet.
