Round 1, Pick 14: Jordyn Tyson, Wide Receiver, Arizona State

Lamar Jackson is in desperate need of weapons at the wide receiver position. Zay Flowers has proven that he’s a top wideout in the league, but the lack of a legitimate #2 WR has hampered the offense. The Ravens were 27th in the league with 175.6 passing yards per game, a stat that has no reason to be that low with a perennial MVP at quarterback. A pass-catcher in the first round makes sense for Baltimore, and Jordyn Tyson could be a viable option.
Tyson had an incredible two-year run for the Sun Devils, with over 1,800 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. He has a good frame at 6’2″ to complement the 5’9″ Flowers. Tyson is also an elite route-runner and wins contested catches. The knock on his game is his injury history and the lack of top-tier speed. Despite these flaws, the two-time First Team All-Big 12 receiver would be an instant upgrade to the Ravens’ offense, making him a great pickup in the first round.
