Round 7, Pick 250: Nolan Rucci, Offensive Tackle, Penn State

Nolan Rucci has some traits that make him a good value in the seventh round. At 6’8 and 314 pounds, he has the frame at tackle that an offensive line coach can work with. Rucci also has the quickness to be impactful in a zone blocking scheme. He doesn’t have the footwork to excel at this point in his career, but he has some tools to work with, and coaching could elevate him to a quality backup in the NFL.
Round 7, Pick 253: Jalon Daniels, Quarterback, Kansas

With the addition of Tyler Huntley, Baltimore could benefit from grooming a young quarterback into a reliable backup. Jaylon Daniels was a dual-threat QB for the Jayhawks, with nearly 3,000 total yards and 26 touchdowns. The first four-time team captain in Kansas history, he has the arm talent and running ability that teams want in QBs. Daniels’s footwork, accuracy, and decision-making leave a lot to be desired. For a seventh-round pick, he has value as a developmental project that could fit into what the Ravens want to do on offense.
