Round 5, Pick 154: Skyler Gill-Howard, Defensive Tackle, Texas Tech

Similar to offensive tackle, the defensive tackle position for the Ravens would benefit from more depth. Nnamdi Madubuike made the Pro Bowl twice before his injury-shortened 2025 season, and Broderick Jones Jr. only played in three games due to availability. The lack of depth at the position is a huge concern that needs to be addressed before training camp. Drafting Skyler Gill-Howard would be a step forward in shoring up that position.
In an injury-shortened season, Gill-Howard posted 2.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks in six starts. His effort and motor are his best assets, which teams want to see from prospects in the later rounds of the draft. Gill-Howard is undersized and lacks the strength to be a two-gap DT, which limits teams’ interest in him. That being said, he can be a good rotational piece in the NFL, and Baltimore would likely benefit from taking him.
