Round 4, Pick 108: Max Klare, TE, Ohio State

Last year, Denver signed Evan Engram, hoping he would add talent to their passing game. The season turned out to be extremely underwhelming for the tight end, hauling in a single touchdown and under 500 yards. Even with the addition of speedster Waddle from Miami, the Broncos could use another weapon in what looks to be a Super Bowl run for the Mile High franchise.

Max Klare is an athletic pass catcher who is viewed as a top-five tight end on most draft boards. Drops have been a problem at times, but are overshadowed by his routes and run-after-catch abilities. He will also need to develop more as a blocker in the NFL to be a well-rounded player. Klare ranked third for Ohio State pass catchers in 2025, hauling in 43 receptions for 448 yards and two touchdowns. With pro comparisons to Tucker Kraft or Mark Andrews, he has the potential to be an asset in the Broncos’ passing game immediately, giving Nix a security blanket over the middle.
