Round 7, Pick 246: Trey Zuhn III, OT, Texas A&M

In the first of three seventh-round picks, Denver adds to their league-best offensive line. The Broncos boast 2 Pro Bowl O-linemen, left tackle Garett Bolles and right guard Quinn Meinerz. Trey Zuhn III will add depth, much like a few other picks in this Denver draft.
Zuhn was a four-year starter and team captain for Texas A&M. His strong base and blocking through the whistle have scouts confident that, given the right situation, Zuhn can have a long career in the NFL. His lack of athleticism does cause some concern at left tackle, leading some analysts to advise moving him inside to guard or center.
The Broncos have a strong roster with few holes. Injuries can change that in an instant. The loss of a tackle can be the death sentence for a team. Keeping Nix healthy and giving him time in the pocket is paramount if Denver wants to compete for a Super Bowl appearance. With the number of injuries in the league, it never hurts to add depth, especially in the seventh round.
