Round 6, Pick 200: Jager Burton, Center, Kentucky

Carolina brought Luke Fortner in on a one-year deal to play center, but he’s not a world beater. There are plenty of centers in the 2026 NFL Draft who could start over him, and maybe one of them is Kentucky’s Jager Burton. He’s 6’4 and 312 pounds, and he runs a sub-five-second forty. He managed 28 reps of 225 pounds on the bench in Indianapolis. He played both center and right guard last season, so he can move along the line as needed.
Jager is an animal in the run game, but needs work in the passing game. He can build a pocket, but he tends to reach and lunge, and could get flagged at the NFL level when he’s matched up against superior athletes.
