This Indianapolis Colts mock draft is going to try to put the team in a better place after a wildly inconsistent season. The team finished 8-9, but were 8-5 under Daniel Jones (0-3 under Philip Rivers and 0-1 under Riley Leonard). Former top quarterback prospect Anthony Richardson only played 14 snaps and is now looking for a new home. The offense was surprisingly good for a team that finished the season with a losing record.

The Colts averaged 27.4 points per game (eighth in the NFL), and amassed 5,880 tards of offense (ninth), with 3,873 coming via the passing game (ninth). They brought Jones’ favorite target, Alec Pierce, back on a deal worth nine figures, and secured Jones for the next two seasons at $44 million each. On the other side of the ball, the team had the 21st-ranked scoring defense (24.2 points per game) and finished 31st in the NFL in yards allowed through the air (4,215).

In this draft, there will be no trades, so the Colts will have to pick where they are slated to in April. They traded their first-round pick to get Sauce Gardner from the Jets, so they will choose in the second (47), third (78), fourth (113), fifth (156), sixth (214), and seventh (249 and 254) rounds.
