The team had used a second-round pick the year before to grab Xavier Legette out of South Carolina, and he’s performed more like a number three than a reliable sidekick. He hauled in 84 receptions in his first two seasons and has seven career touchdowns. Diggs would be an elite second option for quarterback Bryce Young if he chose the Panthers.
