2. New England Lands A.J. Brown In Trade Upgrading Receiver Room

The Patriots now have a true WR1 after the deal for Brown. They’ve lacked receiver production for years, and Brown gives the team an “alpha” wideout who will take Drake Maye’s game to another level, improving the entire offense.
The Patriots haven’t had a receiver of Brown’s caliber since Randy Moss back in 2007. The lack of an elite weapon is arguably one of the biggest reasons Tom Brady left New England for Tampa Bay, and the team won’t make that mistake with Maye. A revamped receiver room gives the quarterback and offensive coordinator, Josh McDaniels, a more explosive offense, which can put them over the top.
