5. Rams Acquire Talented Corner Trent McDuffie In Trade

The Rams gave up their 2026 first-round pick and then some to acquire McDuffie from the Chiefs. He is only 25 years old, and already a two-time All-Pro. If Garrett’s pressure leads to bad passes, McDuffie will be there to pick them off. The team also locked him into a four-year $124 million extension, making him the highest-paid cornerback in history.

McDuffie provides the Rams with a true shutdown corner, and in any other offseason, would be the team’s biggest addition. The fact that he isn’t shows just how committed this team is to bringing home one more Lombardi Trophy.
