The Vrabel and Russini Story is the gift that keeps on giving. New reports regarding a private boat rental by the New England Patriots head coach and the former Athletic reporter are making matters worse for both of them.
The Whole Boat Fiasco
Vrabel and Russini rented a boat together in Tennessee in June 2021. According to TMZ, not only is there photographic evidence, but both went on this boat while Russini was 7 months pregnant with her first kid. To make things even worse, there is now footage of both Russini and Vrabel walking to the boat together, making it impossible for either side to deny they were there.
This comes after photos leaked of both of them kissing at a bar, hanging by the pool at a special
resort, and holding hands with each other. Russini has further muddied her own image with heinous comments about her husband and their crumbling marriage on podcasts. This boat trip is just one more hole in their story, that nothing inappropriate was going on between them
Neither Comes Off Well In This At All
The more that comes out, the more scummy both look in this situation. Vrabel’s reputation is tarnished, and while it’s a long shot, he gets fired, the court of public opinion is hard to overcome. If more comes out about this that paints Vrabel in a much worse light, there is a real chance he gets fined or suspended. Fired is a stretch, because after all, the New England Patriots‘ owner had his own scandal in this department at a massage parlor. The entire story is a tremendous distraction that the Patriots can’t avoid.
As for Diana Russini on other hand, appears to be finished. She is a talented reporter, but with all the baggage surrounding her and the fact that she has lied about this to her employer, it’s hard to see anyone trusting her. It’s a stunning fall from grace, as she was one of the top female reporters in the business. Now, not only is she out of a job, but her reputation is ruined.
Many fans and reporters say she should go into podcasting, but that might be a bad idea, too. Especially with some of the stuff she has said about her “average” husband and “nocturnal activities”, she’s gonna get roasted about the podcast. She needs to stay out of the spotlight, lie low, get some help, and beg forgiveness from her partner.
For those claiming its unfair that Vrabel is getting no punishment and Russini is need to stop. Vrabel is a coach who is paid to win football games, and Russini is a reporter who reports on the team. She broke one of the cardinal sins of reporting by messing around with a person she is covering. That made her credibility crumble, and it has affected her job and reputation. Vrabel actually has gotten punished with his tarnished reputation and whatever is going on with his family life.
It Might Be Time To Get Those Divorce Lawyers
At this point, both need to get prepared with their divorce lawyers. It’s almost every week that more bad stuff comes out about their relationship, painting both in a poor light. The fact that this relationship went on for at least 6 years is insane. There have been plenty of smoking gun moments, especially in Russini’s comments about her husband. The more that comes out, the worse things get, and it’s not an if, but when the divorce lawyers get hired. If the rumors are true that Russini’s kids are Mike Vrabel’s, then it’s hard to see how his marriage lasts long. This whole situation is both a complete mess and absolutely sad.
