Round 3, Pick 72: Keionte Scott, Cornerback, Miami (FL)

The Bengals aren’t as deficient at corner as they are at safety, but they could use some depth at the position. Dax Hill and DJ Turner are productive as starters, with 29 passes defended and three interceptions between them in 2025. Losing Cam Taylor-Britt in free agency hurts the depth at the position, so Cincinnati will likely be looking to add another corner in the draft. Keionte Scott is a viable option for the Bengals to upgrade their defense.
To say that Scott was a productive defender for the Hurricanes would be putting it mildly. The corner posted 13 tackles for loss, five sacks, and two interceptions returned for touchdowns last season. Scott certainly fits the mold for a disruptive NFL nickelback, but inconsistency in pass coverage might give teams some pause in selecting him. Getting a starting nickel in the third round represents good value, and he would be a good fit for the Bengals.
