Round 7, Pick 221: Isaiah Jatta, Offensive Tackle, BYU

It’s difficult to talk about the Bengals without talking about pass protection. Burrow has been sacked 213 times in six seasons, and failed to play in every regular-season game in three of those seasons. To put that in perspective, David Carr, who had high sack totals playing for the expansion Houston Texans, was sacked 267 times in 11 NFL seasons. Every year that Cincinnati doesn’t address its offensive line, Burrow’s career gets shorter and shorter from all the hits he takes.
It’s not all doom and gloom, though. The Bengals return Orlando Brown Jr. at tackle, as the team allowed the fewest sacks of Burrow’s career with 17 in 2025. The franchise needs more depth at the position, and it can address it with multiple picks in the seventh round. Isaiah Jatta could be an option, with his 6’6″ frame and production in the run game. Despite only giving up 17 pressures and one sack in 2025, he struggles to contain elite edge rushers. Jatta’s frame and run-blocking production will warrant late-round interest, and the Bengals could improve their depth by taking him at the 221st pick.
Round 7, Pick 226: Fa’alili Fa’amoe, Offensive Tackle, Wake Forest

To round out the draft, Cincinnati could take Fa’alili Fa’amoe to bolster the offensive line room even further. He has a lot of experience at 39 college games, and boasts above-average hand size for the OL draft class. His inconsistency in run blocking, high pad level, and slow footwork are liabilities that need to be corrected. His hands are good for a seventh-round pick, and most of his deficiencies are fixable with coaching. The Bengals’ last pick in the 2026 draft is a right tackle who could possibly contribute at right guard as well.
