If a team gets a chance to pick a hometown guy, even if it’s a day three selection, it will make the fans happy. Raylen Wilson, out of Georgia, will be a special teams player right from the jump. He’s 6’1 and 235 pounds, and runs a 4.52 forty. This guy could make quite a few tackles on kickoffs. He was a consensus four-star recruit coming out of high school and has sporadic moments of athletic dominance on the field.

Wilson is an exceptional tackler, completely wrapping up at the point of impact. He has great straight-line speed, but a lack of bend, which will hurt him as a pass rusher at the next level. He has a high IQ and a relentless motor, and that will keep him on the active roster, but he will need to develop from the raw talent he is if he wants to be a consistent starter.
