The Miami Dolphins are in full rebuild mode after releasing pass rusher Bradley Chubb
and wide receiver Tyreek Hill. The latter joins the 2026 NFL Free Agency class, and the
WR’s leave much to be desired. Teams looking for a bona fide superstar to line up on
the outside or in the slot won’t find him in this group of players, who are aging or who
have not shown promise.

The lone exception is the Dallas Cowboys’ WR, George Pickens. According to team
owner Jerry Jones, he is not expected to hit the market, since the Cowboys are
planning to use their franchise tag on him. This is perplexing, given that Dallas is $30
million over the cap before tagging or signing anyone on the roster. If Jones is telling the
truth, which he probably isn’t, then that means the top receivers on the market will be
Hill, Mike Evans, and Alec Pierce.

Here’s a look at the top WR’s in the 2026 free agency class, and how they performed
last season, their contract years.
