There are plenty of dynamic backcourt duos in the WNBA, but Alisha Gray and Rhyne Howard have separated themselves from the rest. While an argument could be made for a number of other pairings, the Atlanta Dream’s combination does the little things that place them at the top.

The Dream has gotten off to a blazing start, thanks in large part to their guards. Gray and Howard excel on both ends of the floor and make life difficult for opposing defenders. Their continuity, impact, and chemistry are what make them the premier duo. They may not be the WNBA’s highest scoring combo or the flashiest, but they are the only duo without any glaring weaknesses.
