The New England Patriots’ 2026 schedule looks tough. A main story to their success last year was an “easy” schedule, finishing with a 14-3 regular season record. There is speculation that the Patriots aren’t actually that good after making a Super Bowl run, and this season’s schedule will tell a lot.

Patriots 2026 Schedule Looks Tough

Unlike last year, the opponents this season look tough for New England. They have hard matchups at home and on the road.

At Foxborough, tough opponents the Patriots will face are the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings, and the Denver Broncos. They also play the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins at home, which are games they should win.

There are heavy hitters on the road as well. The Patriots will travel to play against the Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Chargers, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Easier away matchups include the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets.

They start the season with a Super Bowl rematch against the Seahawks in Seattle. This is a rough draw to start the year for New England, and it doesn’t stop. Weeks three and four are going to be crucial games for the Patriots as well, where they have back-to-back road games with the Jaguars in week three and the Bills in week four. The Patriots will see Chicago and Kansas City on primetime, which will be difficult games as well in weeks seven and 15.
