Josh Allen enters his age 30 season in his prime, and the addition of wide receiver DJ Moore gives Buffalo another proven playmaker. Moore quietly averaged more than 1,000 receiving yards during his eight seasons in Carolina despite receiving little national recognition, and being overlooked for a Pro Bowl selection. With improved field conditions and another elite target, Allen should have every opportunity to stretch opposing defenses.
Buffalo Adds “Moore” to Impressive Offense
There is no shortage of weapons in Buffalo’s offense. Even if reigning NFL rushing leader James Cook carries the ball less often than he did during his remarkable 2025 season, that does not necessarily make him less valuable. It could simply mean Allen is distributing the football more evenly to Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox, and Moore.
Newly hired head coach Joe Brady will be responsible for maximizing every piece of this offense. The combination of improved surroundings, an upgraded receiving corps, and an innovative offensive system has the potential to create one of the league’s most dangerous attacks.
