One of the worst things that can ever happen to a celebrity is for a private sex tape of theirs to get leaked. That happened to Titans QB Will Levis and his ex-girlfriend, Gia Duddy, when their tape was posted online in 2024. It was extremely embarrassing and was a tremendous dark moment in his life. His mother, Beth, went on the Ross Tucker podcast to speak about this incident and the aftermath of it.

His Mother’s Reaction To The Tape & What Was Found Out In The Aftermath

While on the podcast, Beth Levis went into detail about the moment of the tape’s release.

“As soon as he started talking my heart immediately sank. … I ended up pulling over and come to find out that my son had just found out a couple hours [before] he discovered that there was a very intimate video of he and his ex girlfriend that had gone viral all over social media platforms. The first words out of Will’s mouth were, ‘I’m so sorry, mom,’ and it just broke my heart,”

No kid wants to talk about their sex lives with their parents, and the parents are equally interested in avoiding the conversation. The news had to be devastating (enough for Beth to pull over), but the aftermath is where it gets interesting, with Mrs Levis getting into more detail about the tape.

Key Takeaways From Her Appearance

Will Levis Mom, Titans, Oilers

First off, why would she choose to discuss her son’s sex life publicly? Her appearance on the podcast was
understandable due to her advertising the mental health-focused apparel brand she owns, Chill Life Style. The fact that she went into detail about the Levis tape and brought a really dark moment of his life back into the public eye is shady and Kardashian-esque.

The next biggest takeaway is that neither Levis nor his ex leaked the tape. What’s scary is that this video he made was actually hacked and in possession for 1-2 years by a European group. These people have no sense of a moral compass for doing that. His mother said it best by saying the following.

“We did find out that actually this content was stolen and his private – either laptop or digital platform, phone, whatever, was actually breached and invaded a year or two earlier when he was in college. And we come to find out this was an Eastern European hacking group that is notorious for trying to target what they think might be an attractive couple that they can then expose and … do what they do for attention.”

This is another example of the dark side of computers and software technology. The worst part is that this would not be the last time Levis’ private info got leaked. In September of 2024, his phone number got leaked on social media, leading to a number of unwanted and disrespectful correspondence from people. Along with this scandal, and a poor 2024 performance with the Titans due to Brian Callahan’s incompetence. Levis was not mentally ready to be a franchise QB, especially in the AFC South.

The final takeaway is that Levis spent an exorbitant amount of money to get the tape removed, which obviously is a waste of time, since whatever goes on the internet stays there. His mother did not reveal the total amount of money spent, but it clearly was a lot. The next question is, does Levis even have enough money left, considering his rookie deal was not fully guaranteed? There’s clearly a financial punishment for this tape leaking, with how much he likely spent to find out who leaked it and how to get rid of it.

The Biggest Lesson To Be Learned Here In This Levis Saga

The lesson to be learned here is never film yourself doing these “nocturnal activities”. Nothing ever goes well doing that, and once that footage is public, it never goes away. Levis did not deserve this at all and is clearly a victim in this situation. Nobody deserves this at all, and hopefully the quarterback is in a much better place, because a leak like this can do as much damage mentally as it does financially.
