Co-Main Event: Alex “Poatan” Pereira (13-3) Versus Ciryl “Bon Gamin” Gane (13-2), 5 Rounds For The Interim Heavyweight Championship

This is the toughest fight to predict. “Paotan” is one of the biggest stars in the UFC for his aura and elite kickboxing ability, which leads to devastating knockouts. He gets his shot at history, moving to a third weight class against Gane, who has phenomenal footwork and technique for a Heavyweight. Look for Gane to attempt to get this fight to the ground, where he has submission skills to finish a fight.

Pereira will march forward to land his trademark calf kicks, or left hand, or high kick to take out “Bon Gamin”. How well Gane handles the fight determines the outcome, as he needs to gain his opponent’s respect with an attack to keep him from getting walked down. If Pereira keeps the fight standing and avoids gassing out with the added weight, expect him to hurt Gane enough and get the stoppage late. Prediction: Pereira By 4th Round TKO

Main Event: Champion Ilia “El Matador” Topuria (17-0) Versus Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje (27-5), 5 Rounds For The Lightweight Championship

ufc freedom 250, ilia topuria, justin gaethje

The main event showcases two of the top fighters in the UFC right now with bad blood. Topuria is riding high on confidence, going through every tough obstacle put in front of him thus far. He has the best boxing in the promotion, with legit one-punch knockout power and elite jujitsu skills.

Gaethje has crushing power himself and is a fan favorite of the type of action his fights come with. He will pressure Topuria and should utilize his strong leg kicks to slow down “El Matador”. He will have some big moments in the fight that keep him competitive, but Topuria will break him down with the cleaner technique until he gets the knockout shot. Prediction: Topuria By 2nd Round KO
