One of the best to ever do it is hanging up his cleats after the 2026 season, and Aaron Rodgers is one of the NFL’s top 10 quarterbacks of all time, but how high is he? The future Hall of Famer announced that he will be retiring after this season (which may end in a complete disaster). He’s had an incredible career, but the league has such a rich history of quarterback play that even making the top ten is difficult. With that being said, here are the top ten signal callers ever in the NFL.
Honorable Mentions
There are a handful of passers with strong cases to be in the top ten, but they came up just short. Drew Brees had historic production with the Saints, but he was only a First Team All-Pro once during his career, and never an MVP. Kurt Warner was a two-time NFL MVP and a Super Bowl champion, but his career lacked consistency. Without a Super Bowl title, Lamar Jackson is on the outside looking in with his two MVPs. That’s also true for Terry Bradshaw, who won four titles with arguably the best defense in league history.
