Darryn Peterson and Darius Acuff Jr.

Kansas star and 6’6″ 19-year-old freshman Peterson has speculation around injuries, but his excellent play on the floor stands out. Missing 11 games with strained hamstrings, body cramps, and ankle injuries is causing his draft stock to fall. Without these issues, he could be the number one prospect right now ahead of Dybantsa. He posted an impressive 20.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. Having the ability to control and take over a game at the guard position is what Peterson offers. Also, he is a complete all-around guard. Teams can’t go wrong with him at number two.
John Calipari’s recruit, Acuff Jr., is special. The 19-year-old freshman point guard, standing at 6’3″, emerged this season at Arkansas, catching the nation’s attention. He received the Bob Cousy Award, as the best point guard in college basketball this season. He has a deep bag with incredible shot-making ability. He gets buckets and is a three-level scorer, while being an effective playmaker as well. Highlighted with 23.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game, he does it all on the offensive end. He is a better prospect than Boozer and could be better than Peterson. Acuff Jr.’s attitude and the way he plays are something to love.
