With March Madness over, it’s time to look at the 2026 NBA draft. This incoming class is going to be one of the best, potentially even better than 2003, which was highlighted by LeBron James. Talent is available at guard, forward, and center. The top-end talent among college freshmen is what makes this draft special.
This year’s class of one-and-done prospects has shown out like no other all season, including during the tournament. A class this big with so much talent doesn’t come around often.
Although the freshmen draw all the attention, this class also offers depth from upperclassmen. Lottery picks could all pan out, and even some afterwards, with how deep and skilled this class is. Normally, the draft is a toss-up after the first few picks, but this year goes even beyond the lottery with potential impact players.
