The Rams are stateside again and will enter the game having gotten plenty of rest. Despite their struggles in week one, they still sport an elite offense and should not be taken lightly.
Giants Have The Pieces Together
The Giants won their first week one home opener since 2010, and under new head coach John Harbaugh, began a season 1-0 for the first time since 2022. They scored four touchdowns against the Cowboys, after three consecutive openers without a touchdown.
New York’s offense impressed, starting with the time of possession. They held the ball for 20:59 in the second half (compared to 8:27 for Dallas), going nine of 10 on third downs before the final kneel.
Quarterback Jaxson Dart found six different receivers during the game, highlighted by tight end Isaiah Likely, who had eight receptions for 78 yards and two touchdowns. Fullback Patrick Ricard did not record a single carry, but his blocking opened holes for Cam Skattebo, who finished with 81 yards and a touchdown.
This Giant team has plenty of confidence entering Monday night’s matchup in Los Angeles, and if the offense continues to be patient and controls the clock, New York will leave the game with its first 2-0 start in four years. After the Rams, they have a pretty favorable schedule before the bye, with the toughest matchup being against the Houston Texans in Week 7.

There will be plenty of big offensive plays that can make this game exciting. Stafford has the receiving targets in Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, but he can use Kyren Williams in that end too.
