Round 4, Pick 105: Bud Clark, Safety, TCU

The Giants’ secondary was bad to put it plainly in 2025. The team’s 17 turnovers (10 interceptions) ranked near the bottom of the league. New York needs a player who can not only solidify the secondary but also someone who is a ball hawk. Bud Clark is the perfect fit to change the back end of the Giants’ defense.
Clark is an average-sized safety at 6’1″ and 188 pounds. His tape tells a different story. He is an instinctual player, always around the ball, especially in the passing game. In his last four years with TCU, the six-year collegiate athlete posted 15 interceptions, showing excellent hands and recovery speed. Clark does lack some size in the run game, but has strong technique and is unafraid of contact, playing downhill. He is a playmaker, and the Giants have a desperate need for someone who can get that game-changing turnover. His tape shows flashes of greatness and elite upside despite some analysts disagreeing.
