AL East: Most Underrated Player From Each Team

There haven’t been too many bright spots for the Red Sox so far this season, but one has been Ceddanne Rafaela. He has always been a great defender, but this year his bat has started to come around, and he has been an above-average hitter for the first time in his career.

Rafaela has taken significant steps at the plate, posting career highs in AVG, OBP, OPS, and BB%. If he can keep this up alongside his amazing defense, he can become one of the most valuable players in the league and be a huge building block for the Red Sox. He currently leads the team in WAR (2.4) and has been one of the only Boston players to exceed expectations so far.
