No Need To Panic

Make no question about it: Judge’s injury is a huge blow to the Yankees and could ruin their chances for the division title. He is the best power hitter in baseball, and the team will be hard-pressed to replace his MVP-level production. There is no need to panic, however, as this year’s Yankees squad has the talent while they await Judge’s return.

If the internal options do not work out, the team can look to the trade market to add help. As long as the pitching staff keeps performing at a high level, New York will be in most games and only needs the lineup to be league average to keep afloat. Getting Judge back healthy later this season is the priority if they want to reach the World Series, but until then, the Yankees will keep themselves afloat.
